TUNE Cares is our community service program supporting thought leadership, education, the environment, diversity, and more. Employees are encouraged to share their passions, and a team of dedicated TUNErs helps identify opportunities to build awareness and engage with the community to support the causes that matter most to our employees.
The TUNE House promotes the advancement of women in tech by focusing on scholar influence, community outreach and industry impact. The program provides scholars who have demonstrated a passion for computer science with a safe environment, access to professional and technical resources, and free housing and groceries for one year.

Going into the new year, TUNE Cares will continue strengthening our efforts within our internal and external communities. Actions include but are not limited to closing our doors for MLK Day for the first time, introducing a VTO (Volunteer Day Off) initiative during Earth Week, becoming a returning sponsor to support Seattle Pride 2018, and hosting quarterly charity/awareness events for local nonprofits and important causes.
Our goal for 2018 is to continue to create a network and monthly experiences for employees who are committed to supporting women internally and in the tech industry, and to create a more inclusive workplace culture for all genders at TUNE. For this year, we aspire to continue building upon our monthly lunchtime topic talks and sit-downs, to plan quarterly events for our industry to come together and discuss gender equality topics, and to create meaningful ways for our global company to share experiences and ideas for how to create a better environment for all genders at TUNE.
"As someone new to both TUNE and Seattle, the TUNE Cares program has been instrumental for not only meeting fellow TUNErs, but also learning about the unique opportunities to give back to the community. Without TUNE Cares, I wouldn't have known about Samaritan and the amazing impact they've had on the homeless community in Seattle. A lot of companies provide perks for employees, but TUNE is truly different by valuing it's people while investing in the community."
"When students take field trips to our office, TUNE does a wonderful job organizing each visit and really makes all students and panelists excited to be involved. It's especially rewarding to be given the opportunity to help answer questions from the young women curious about working in tech. I feel honored to have been on panels with so many smart, passionate people from different parts of TUNE."
From the moment she joined TUNE in 2016, Prabhjeet's passion for helping others has been reflected in her work and commitment to volunteerism. From organizing regular support for a local food kitchen, to educating the community about a new nonprofit, to getting her hands dirty in a street cleanup or constructing tiny houses for homeless neighbors, Prabhjeet leads by example through her good actions and engagement. Now a member of the TUNE Cares committee, she’s the embodiment of the TUNE value of being excellent to others. Thanks Prabhjeet!
